Before you access production APIs you should do a few basic tasks in following steps:
1. Browse the available banking APIs
Take a look at our APIs to see what choices are available. Is there an API you can exploit in one of your applications? Use the supplied APIs to quickly construct a fully featured application.
2. Sign Up on Sandbox
Creating an account is free. Click ‘sign up’ from the home page, then enter your name, email address and password. We'll then send you an email with an activation link. Click the link, and you'll be ready to start developing.
3. Create an app
Before you can use a Sandbox API you have to register your application. When you register an application, the application is assigned a unique client ID and client secret. You must use the client ID when you call a Sandbox API that requires you to identify your application by using a client ID, or a client ID and client secret. Check the Sandbox API description for the details.
More information is available under Info tab.
4. Invite members
Invite other members of your organization.
5. Choose an API plan and test
After your application is registered you need to subscribe to a plan. The plan determines the number of API calls that your application can make. All plans on Sandbox APIs are free of charge.
Once your application is subscribed, you use received credentials to test all Sadbox APIs included in the subscribed products.
6. Use APIs in production environment
Before accessing the production environment, you should perform relevant tests. Sandbox APIs does not require an eIDAS certificate and TPP license.
Please have in mind, depending on the type of APIs there are some requirements for the production environment. To use production PSD2 APIs, you must have a valid eIDAS certificate and a valid TPP license. To use Open Data APIs, you only need to register your TPP application.
